Our Location
Makanas Beach Bungalows is located towards the end of Santa Teresa in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by nature and the jungle. Our location allows guests to experience everything the town has to offer without having to be in the center of the hustle and bustle. We have monkeys in the canopy above the hotel, iguanas running down our paths, and birds flying about. The beach in front, just a short stroll away down a little dirt path, is very secluded and features amazing natural tide pools for lounging in the sun. One of the best surf breaks in the area is located just a 5 minute walk down the beach.
